Usually priced at $219, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 weighs just over a pound and boasts 32GB of storage (expandable up to a whopping 1TB via microSD card), compared to Apple’s entry level, which isn’t even expandable. And unlike the iPad, the Tab A7’s 10.4-inch display has a full HD widescreen for immersive viewing.

It features an 8-megapixel selfie cam with a 5-megapixel rear shooter on the front for video calls — and this camera set is actually better than the one that comes with the iPad.

As far as sound, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 includes dual-channel audio in a full-stereo design for sharpness and clarity with Dolby Atmos support for a movie theater-like experience. With up to 13 hours of battery life and 3GB of memory, this Android tablet is more than zippy enough for browsing the internet, listening to music, playing games, watching YouTube videos and some light work, including word processing, spreadsheets and presentations.
