More than a dozen shots can be heard ringing out on the side of the road — horrifying commuters stuck in rush-hour traffic, according to video footage recorded by one witness.

A firearm was later recovered from the scene and the man was rushed to Maimonides Medical Centre in critical condition, according to police. It wasn’t immediately clear if the man had fired the gun.
