NFL Week 9 Weather Updates: Mild wind, little rain in forecast unlikely to affect fantasy start ’em, sit ’em decisions

Fantasy football owners are braced for the worst when the calendar flips to November, but last week was relatively mild and the Week 9 NFL weather forecast looks to be even better. There are a few mild wind and light rain concerns, but for the most part, it looks like fantasy owners can worry about injuries and bye weeks instead of the weather. Nonetheless, with the help of RotoGrinders’ meteorologist Kevin Roth, we’ll break down the weather updates you need to know before finalizing your start ’em, sit ’em decisions.

Before we get into the Week 9 forecasts, here’s a reminder that if you have any questions about sports weather or how weather could impact play (and, potentially, your fantasy, DFS, and gambling decisions), don’t hesitate to reach out to RotoGrinders’ meteorologist Kevin Roth on Twitter (@KevinRothWx) or check out the hourly NFL weather forecasts on RotoGrinders. NFL Week 9 weather updates

Bills @ Jaguars. The Bills just can’t seem to get away from suboptimal conditions, even on the road. Winds around 15-20 mph likely won’t affect Josh Allen and company too much, so start everyone as usual. The Jags don’t have (m)any must-starts this week, but the weather isn’t a big enough reason to shy away from anyone you were planning to use.

WEEK 9 DFS LINEUPS: FanDuel | DraftKings | Yahoo

Texans @ Dolphins. This game will likely see similar weather as the game in Jacksonville, though there’s a slight chance of rain to go along with the wind. Neither of these offenses would be considered high-powered, but barring changes to the forecast, the weather shouldn’t slow them down too much.

Cardinals @ 49ers. This game could see a little rain in the second half, but there’s no need to worry about benching any of your players because of that.
